What time do results come out in Saudi Arabia?
Cambridge releases results at 06:00 GMT. Saudi Arabia is three hours ahead and does not change its clocks, so results are released at 9:00 am Saudi time, in both January and August.
How to check your results
- Online: your school or exam centre gives you login details for Cambridge's online results service. Results appear there at the release time.
- From your school: many schools in Saudi Arabia also share results by email or in person on the same day.
- Private candidates: contact the exam centre where you sat the exams.
- Save a copy: the online login is temporary, so download or screenshot your statement of results.
- Certificates come later: the official certificate reaches your school a few months after results day.
If a result is lower than expected
Speak to your school's exams officer straight away, because the deadlines for enquiries about results are short. The usual options are a clerical re-check, a full re-mark, or a copy of your marked script. A re-mark can lower a grade as well as raise it.
You can also resit. Cambridge runs exams in June and November, so a June candidate can usually resit in the November series of the same year. Ask your school about entries and deadlines.
The grade thresholds are published on results day too, so you can see how many marks each grade needed.
Planning after January results
January results arrive about four months before the June 2027 exams begin. That is enough time to fix weak topics if work starts straight away. See the June 2027 timetable and revision plan.
